The first cache I have placed in Colorado. In honor of the Picidae family.

This cache was placed on Christmas Day 2013, in an area that is not visited too often. Depending on your access point, you might have to cross a creek. Beware of downed barbed wire as you travel to the cache. It is an easy hike, although the terrain is certainly uneven. Able bodies can reach this, although those of you vertically challenged might have a bit of toruble accessing the cache. The container is unconventional, and you will need to BYOP ot sign the log. It will hold SMALL items. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

As I got near GZ I spotted the cache. I waited a bit to let my friend Dom Yazzie try to make the find as he is just getting started in the game. I have seen caches like this before. The log will need a new bag, I didn't have any on me at the time. I tried to cover the log up the best I could. So when the next cacher comes brig a small bag with you for the log so it won't get wet. Got back to the Jeep and realized I locked my keys inside. It's a good thing that I have a soft top.
Thanks for the Cache
