Found on another fun cache run with K9jayhawk. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find today. SL, TFTC!

I made quite a detour to get here, but the thunderstorm made searching difficult. No idea where to look, since the GZ didn't yield a cache.

First time in your region, main reason for this trip: Colorado Geo Art. But also, we wanted to cache in 4 different states (Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas and Nebraska) and go for the oldest active cache (GC30-Mingo). JOCE13 was my partner for this 11 day's trip. We have planned this exciting trip 3 months ago: flights, hotel , rental car, stamps for our signature, extra logs, extra caches, clothes, shoes and boots for all weather conditions. For the GEOART, we were well prepared: detailed itinerary for an optimal collect.
First day was tuff, road condition (due to the rain) were too difficult. We even get stuck in the mud and a local farmer helped us. We waited until the road got dried and came back. From there, everything was fine. A lot of mileage, no problem with the gas, having identified gas stations (Idalia, ...).
GeoArt got completed without any problem. In addition to domestic animals, we saw a large variety of wild animals: antelopes, jack rabbits, ground squirrels, lizards, a snake (!!!!), deer, turkey, pheasants, etc... Also many birds and no flies (YEAH!).
Except for the rain, we had a great time.
As we were completing our collect, we met 4 geocachers (Tentha, Johny Rango, BBSuared and Ranger Fox) who were removing the caches following the decision made recently. Was fun talking to them.
Thanks so much to all for the work produced for this fantastic series.
