This is part of my series to give thanks to those Geocachers that
influence me to go outside and discover new places and challenges.

toolrep1

Thanks for all you do for Geocaching.

toolrep1 has around 20,000 finds and 69 owned caches.
toolrep1 is not in the top 50 of Colorado Cachers for finds, however, he is top 50 in Illinois.
He joined Geocaching in August of 2013.

One of the first things I do when a new puzzle comes out is try and solve it before toolrep1. I will admit I usually fail at that quest. There are a handful of geocachers that amaze me at how fast they solve puzzles. toolrep1 is one of those amazing solvers. He is typically one of the first solvers on my puzzles. Need to make them harder :).

You might meet toolrep1 at events or out geocaching. You will diffently see his name on Certitude.

This cache is dedicated to toolrep1.

I was able to slove this one shortly after it published and made the stop to sign the log on the way to an event tonight. It was a fun puzzle to work through with some elements I haven't seen in a while. TFTC

I’ve had a few exchanges with toolrep1 over the years. I fully expect his name to already be on the list of solvers by the time I take my first look at a new puzzle. As it was with THIS puzzle .

There was no snow in Colorado Springs from the latest storm and although I knew points north got more, I wasn’t really prepared for it. All is well at the cache, TFTC!

Headed out to the first event in the South metro blitz series - this was the last of five geocaches that I found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

With permission from the tributee, I log this {FTF} @ 0854. This gets me FTF Calendar day 323.

I won't share too many details about what the tributee is up to now. However, it is safe to say that he won't be in Colorado any time soon. I have never met him in person, but have done quite a bit of messaging through the site with him over the past couple years. No, I wasn't asking him for hints on puzzles. In fact, he was asking me for hints on some of my puzzles.

I did solve this puzzle without any outside assistance. To avoid spoiling things for others, I am not going to comment further about this puzzle. I will say that the drive out this morning was pretty long; the roads were in bad shape. It's funny how long I'm willing to drive for certain geocaches now, considering that I used to call it a long drive to get out to this area. Well, this is a good D/T combo and I needed this day for my FTF calendar.

I couldn't avoid leaving a geotrail to the cache this morning. Maybe they plowed the sidewalks later in the day.
