We are staying in Colorado Springs and went out with Dugeagle today to do some caching and this was one we targetted and found. We enjoyed the variety of hides. We were able to find the coords to the final without too much of a problem and the final was safely tucked away. Fav point alloc. Greetings from Australia. Thanks to MikeAndJuli for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

Dang. Dont know if I was just looking in the wrong place or what, but I couldn't find it after almost 40 mins if searching. Better luck next time.

For starters, let me congratulate you for still caching ten years later. I am bummed that I missed the anniversary celebration and hope that a good time was had by all.
Speaking of a good time, there is no other human on this planet that channels fun and joy like herndonrd. So when he told me he was going for eleven icons today I begged and pleaded that I could join him on this pursuit. After much whining and bribery, he acquiesced (Read: I annoyed him into submission) and let me come along. Apparently he was in a good mood because I didn't have to ride in the trunk this time.
But I digress.
This was our choice for multi today, and it did not disappoint. As usual, I looked in all the wrong places and made herndonrd look pretty (a herculean challenge to say the least) while he did the deed at both stages. After signing the log and putting everything back in place we were back in the car and off to our next icon. Thanks for the fun hide and for your contribution to a great day of icon grabbing.
