About the Series

I wondered for a while what sort of a cache series would make sense for me. Then I suddenly realized I could combine geocaching with another of my hobbies. I'm a specialty coffee freak. I'm a trained barista, roast my own coffee (on a Gene Café roaster), have a quite serious home espresso machine (Quickmill Vetrano 2b Evo), and regard cappuccino as one of the basic food groups. Thus was born the Cuppa Chino series. These will be placed near coffee-related sites that I find interesting.

These will probably be mostly cache and dashes, just because of the locations, but I'll try to watch for the opportunity to do a challenging hide from time to time.

About This Location

A moderately difficult hide in a place with Euro style. Tweezers might be helpful here.

This cache replaces cache GC78ZJ0. It was at this same coffee-related site, but the fence on which it was mounted was removed. This version is perhaps a bit harder to spot. Since it's an entirely different hide, it seemed appropriate to start it from scratch, so those who have already found the first cache can enjoy this one as well.

Congratulations to LostinDenver and 2lablovers for the FTF!

We started the day off attending the 77's leap day event and then headed up to Loveland to attend two more leap day events. After attending the Nordy's event, we headed south to cache our way to the last of four events on the day in Centennial for animjason's leap day event. Searched for several minutes and not coming up with it. The GPS was bouncing around, so we decided to give LostinDenver a call to get a hint. Very nice hide and camo,SL,TFTC

I was nearby at the Morningstar Senior Living Center with my in-laws to help fix their Netflix. That only took a few minutes and because it was well after operating hours I figured it would be the perfect time to come over here. And so it was!

I checked one potential spot and spotted nothing. I went for the more devious spit and came up empty there too. Then I turned around and spotted it right away. Well done! Haven’t found many like this but this was definitely a good version.

I really like this series and have found a good number of them so far. Hope to get more!

I remember the original over here. It was a bit out in the open so it was a quick find at the time. Thanks for rebirthing a hide here!

Thanks for the hide Ceolmhor
