A series of full size caches + a bonus cache hidden on or near to the route of a brutal Half Marathon at Deer Creek Canyon Park.

Official plastic ammo can hidden by the entrance to a small cave close to the trail

This is part of a series of full size caches hidden on or near to the route of a brutal Half Marathon. There are 7 in total + a bonus mystery cache (#8). Kudos to anyone who completes in one pass while running. Coordinates for the bonus can be found by putting together the clues found on the side (and bottom) of each cache in the series. You will need to find each cache to solve the puzzle: N39 32.ABC W105 D.EFG. The logical order if you want to do in one trip is probably: #3, #1, #2, #5, #4, #6, #7, #8.

 Hints

Pretty close to the trail. If heading downhill then on the right hand side. There is a large outcrop of rocks with a view. Cache is by the entrance of a small cave, low down on the trail side of the outcrop. It's behind a prickly bush so take care!

Like others have said the GPS took me too far down the hill. After reading some logs I came back up and spotted the cave. Then it was a quick find. Tftc!
