Travel from Canon City. Drive approximately 5.1 miles on Temple Canyon Road, and park at:

N 38*24.444' W105*18.695'

Turn into the Temple Ridge Picnic Area. Park there or drive down the two-track to the next picnic shelter.
Watch your step or you'll end up in the bowels of the Earth. Stay too long and it'll swallow you up.

Cache was in surprisingly good shape for its age. Of course, getting to it required a bit of blood-letting. Tftc!

We parked a little further down the road than the suggested parking coords and found a good trail from there. All I have to say about the final location is ouch! Some of those thorny bushes must have gotten bigger in the years since the cache was placed. It's still in good shape though. TFTC

I can believe this one doesn't get found frequently. Hostile habitat. Maybe it was better in 2009. Bring extra blood with you, if possible. TFTC.

Found this on the way to other caches in the area. We should have worn better armor - the thin hiking fabric doesn't stop the thorns Smile. TFTC!

Forgot to log this one while I was down in here a while back.

After grabbing a new one for a FTF, I made my way down stream.

Fun spot for a cache!

I almost hiked down here while in the area a few years ago.
