Grumpy Cat became an internet sensation after her photo was posted on Reddit on September 22, 2012. It was suggested that the original photo was photoshopped, so a few videos were put on YouTube by the owners. The videos went viral immediately.
They aren’t exactly sure about Grumpy Cats breed; but she looks nothing like her mother or father. She looks similar to a Ragdoll or Showshoe; but there have never been any of that breed around the house. Her mom is a calico domestic short hair cat and her father has gray and white stripes. (Though I suppose there could be a different father, promiscuous cats you know…)
She visited the vet at the beginning of October and they said she is healthy. They said her shape and size could be genetic or neurological and that they could do test to determine which; but since she is healthy the owners decided not to poke and prod her.

Thank you for sharing the history of Grumpy Cat. I learned something new working on this puzzle. Very long but enjoyable walk in the park today. Clever hide. I must have looked there several times.

What a day! 34 caches. 14 Traditional, 12 Puzzle, 3 Virtual, 2 Letterbox, 2 Multi and 1 Wherigo. I had been planning on a big day in Parker and while I didn’t get everything on my list, I got most of it and completed the Planetary Pursuit Souvenir challenge. Lots of great caches and good challenges. Here’s a little something about this one.

Very clever hide but it didn't fool me! Well, not too much at least. Very well done puzzle.

The hide took a few minutes to track down but it was in the spot I thought it might be. Just hidden a little more than I expected.

I did my caching today with Jack, my geopup. I know Phred isn't a dog fan but one of Jack's best friends is our cat, Luna. Don't believe me? Just check the picture I attached. It doesn't happen every day but it happens often enough that it's really cool. So I hope Phred doesn't mind too much that Jack helped me with the find.

With much help from the CO finally got the W coordinate. Stopped by on my way down to Stellar Stables to pick up our daughter. Nice hike to the location. Signed the log and left a small token in the container. Hope you take the picture as tongue in cheek as we are dog people! TFTC!
