Dogs  Not Recommended for kids  Takes less than an hour  Scenic view  May require wading  Available at all times  Not Stroller accessible  Short hike (less than 1km)

One of the largest in tha area. Unfortunately time and age has taken its toll on this old Ent. Tree houses, weather, and wild life have burdened him through his long existence. There will be many local cachers who will approach this hide with fear and PTSD as the original placement was a little challenging. Fear not Brave Cachers! There is a little climbing involved but nothing like before. Best approached from the east, only a couple steps up and a little balance crossing the fallen limb will be needed.

OUT14ND3R and I met nearby and began the Hobbit-like journey to find the one ring (Pupulus Deltoides Redux). I packed some Lembas, our walking sticks, and headed toward the enormous ent. The thorns and dried weeds of Sauron enveloped us as we pushed forward. As we neared my heart fell. What has happened to this once mighty forest giant, now lying on the dusty ground? Time takes all. We sprang here and there, up and down, there and back again. Then we discovered the glimmering emerald. My precious. We opened the secret container, verified the previous finder and added our travel nicknames. After tucking the jewel away we sped off, leaving only a trail of dust, fearful of the ever watching Smaug.
Thanks for the adventure. Excellent as always, sir!
Thanks for the cache!

Wahoo FTF @2135. So I think the snow added some difficulty to this one. But I saw it and needed my FTF so I took Wisewarrior and Littlehawk and made the cache run. This tree gives me nightmares. I remember climbing far too high in this tree looking for the last cache in the wrong places. TFTC
