When my grandmother took us for walks along these trails, I took to calling this section the "waterworks", inspired by the canal and the infrastructure that guides it. We would go up to a certain point, then turn around. Next time, we would walk a little further, and so on.

This area is looking cacheless so I thought it would be cool to add one here. When you find the container, some tweezers may be very helpful for retrieving the log. Significant Snow cover here may make this more difficult.

Congartulations to Rohatx for being FTF out in the dark and cold of winter!

Close to home so I drove over. Followed the superhighway in the snow to GZ. Not what I thought it would be but easy find. Give it a fav. TFTC!

Came to check on this with dutch9744, who was eager to find it today. The lid is still with the container, I suppose one of the FTFers ended up finding it, so that’s a relief. Both have mentioned some animal activity evidence, and sure enough, there were tons of mounds at GZ that resemble droppings. I cleared out as much of it as I could, but be aware that there still is some. When I initially placed the cache, I didn’t notice so much nefarious stuff. Sorry about that! I may reconsider this one’s location in the future since it may gross people out.

CO-[FTF] 12-12-2020 with Roharx. I finished work and began driving home when this cache published. It was snowing and freezing! Sorely no one will be crazy enough to try for this before I get there in an estimated 10 minutes. O pulled up at the GZ and my brain somehow ignored the parked vehicle nearby. But as I headed toward the GZ on foot I noticed fresh prints. Hrmmm. The I looked ahead and saw a darkened figure. Rhe one and only legendary Rohatx. Always good so see a friend. We put ink on the log and put the container in its hiding place, which has evidence of animal activity around it.
Thanks for the cold adventure cache!

I jetted out in a hurry to armor an FTF and was joined by Lost in Denver at GZ. Made the quick find but lost the lid! Spent more time searching for the lid then anything. Word of warning! Wear gloves for sanitary purposes! Thank you for the placement
