Hasenpfeffer is a traditional German stew made from marinated rabbit or hare. Pfeffer is not only the name of a spice, but also for a dish where the animal's blood is used as a gelling agent for the sauce. Wine or vinegar is also a prominent ingredient, to lend a sourness to the dish.
To find the letterbox you will need to follow the rabbit trail. Start hopping south and then west until you have hopped over 45 lines in the smooth rabbit path. At the 45th line head 90 feet west to another smooth rabbit path. Hop west over 60 lines. At the 60th line the prize will be 50 feet away at 155 degrees.

Looked in two possible hiding places - nothing in either. Pretty sure we were spot on with the location.

I did pretty good until the 155 degrees. I thought I found the right spot but it wasn't there so I'm not sure about the degrees :/

We've looked for this one several times without any success. We contacted a previous finder who confirmed that we were on the right track and to try again. We went back today and made the find! Signed log. Thanks for this fun and challenging letterbox.

Whoa!!! Super clever hide...would not have found this without significant nudging from a friend!! Everything is safe, solidly attached, and dry. Thanks for this new D/T combo, too!

Finally! I think I've been trying to figure this one out for 3 years or more. We had followed the instructions twice & got to the general final location but could never come up with it. I got one hint from a finder but still no luck so after getting even more specific directions my huggle did the dirty work & found it.
