Today I came out to the Hudson area on a caching frenzy. I headed up I-76 and started caching while headed east. Pretty amazing time. I saw one hawk, a few prairie dogs, lots of rabbits, and a few small herds of deer. As night fell, I'm sure that more animals saw me than I saw them.
This was my 'first catch' of the day. I stopped off and paid my respect at the memorial. A big salute to those who have served (including Brian)! Next, I searched for the container. The coords seem good, but I couldn't come up with the container. I read past logs and saw nothing that made me think the coords were off or that this was overly tricky. But the last log indicated that the finder took a bunch of school kids here. Hmmm. Maybe missing now. So I called the CO and he confirmed the location and cache type. I searched one more time before using a very similar container to replace it at the coords. TFTC!
