If you park next to the star, go down the hill (i.e., East side of the road). You should find a path that leads toward the panoramic point. GZ should point you to an outcropping of three or four trees. Look for the one tree unlike the others (in the winter there are some silver juniper looking berries). The cache is micro and silver tucked in at knee level on the North side of the tree. Bring a pen. No tweezers required.

TFTC! Visiting Boulder for a couple of days and decided to grab some caches. Cache is in good shape and thank you for the smiley face on the cache map.

Co-FTF with LostinDenver and Windatmyback at 12:43 PM. Very excited to get this as we still needed a FTF for December. Wonderful day caching with friends up in the Boulder area although it sure was chilly as we got higher and higher. Thanks for the new cache and for bringing us to this beautiful spot.

Today was all about caching with friends. I called @2lablovers about grabbing an FTF today. There were two options - one nearby challenge cache and a distant traditional in the hills outside of Boulder. I went home and chatter with @WindAtMyBack and we came up with a foolproof plan. The challenge cache would probably be found given that it was in the metro area. Lots of eager cachers would be vying for that one. So we (2LL, WAMB, and I) jumped in my Toyota and ran to the hills. A little drive and a quick grab of the nearby virtual and we plodded up the hill. Not hard at all, but a little chilly. After I over looked the container, WAMB covered my tracks by spotting the container. We ripped it open like ravenous beasts to reveal the brand new, virgin log. Unsullied by any other cacher. CO - [FTF] at 12:43 pm. Thanks for the excuse to get out of the city and enjoy the crisp mountain air.
