FTF at 8:37am with CoBiker. We only get FTFs by accident, and this one popped up right before a cache run, right on our route to pre-cache breakfast. Found it just a little south of posted, but not a lot.

Well, some days the geocaching goddess is with you and some days she's out doing last-minute shopping for the holidays. I spent about 30 minutes searching the area and came up empty-handed. My first problem was I wasn't exactly sure what an olive container is. Is it an olive-colored container? Is it a jar - probably not. Is it one of those plastic deli containers? Maybe. Searched around the two spots my GPSr initially took me to and came up empty-handed. Check for a hint - nothing. Check for attributes - nothing. Checked terrain - no, I don't get to climb a tree Checked for past log comments - oh yeah, this was an FTF search. Expanded my search about a hundred feet and didn't find anything other than some old booze bottles, a glove, something that might fit a bison tube for my next hide - but no cache container. Checked the profile of the CO to see how new he is and found that even though he's listed as a member since 2010 there are no finds and this one hide. At that time I decided I wanted to enjoy my day and decided to leave. CITOed my way back to the car so this wasn't a complete loss. Happy caching.
