I think this was the toughest part of the climb, felt like going up a sand dune. 12" up and sink or slide 6" down. I knew what to expect as I came to the end of the headwall, but still cresting over and seeing the false summit is always a mind killer. Foreshadowing - I knew coming down would be much easier but didn't anticipate all the material that I would collect in my shoes. Almost like running down a sand dune. Thanks for the waypoint.

Been watching these four caches since Monday when they were posted, hoping that someone would find them and I would be lazy and not go after them. Well the deed is done and I found all four, had a great day, and my body hurts. I have lived in the area for more than 30 years and have never been on Mt. Lincoln. Thanks for giving me a reason.
