This is a small lock n' lock placed in a pile of rocks off of Park County Rd. 61 which is off of CR98 in Lake George and is 6.2 miles from Florissant.  Not much rock climbing involved.  Go behind the backside of the rock pile and look for a small tree and it's above that on a table in a crevice.  Should be an easy find.  Contains a little swag, a log book and a pencil.  Please cover it back up as you found it.  There is a dirt road right there off of the main road and parking very close by.  Unfortunately, it is not named Cottontail Lane.

Have fun.  C.I.T.O,  Thanks for visiting my cache.  Hopefully you'll see at least one bunny.

Congratulations to EJKPBR for braving the freezing cold temperatures and snowy/icy roads to be FTF on this cache.  Woo-Hoo!

We went on a short excursion today before the next snowstorm. Nice sunny day. This was an easy find because all we needed to do was to follow the footprints in the snow. We exchanged the resident trackable for a different one. Tftc.

Woo-HOO Third to Find (3TF) !
Okay, so that is not an actual statistic, but I will take what I can get. Favorite Point !
I followed some cottontail tracks through the snow until they led me astray. Well, maybe they were deer tracks, but don't worry about that. I was hoping to see a moose today but that didn't happen either. Dang.
Anyway, found the container, SL, traded a little swag and dropped off a Christmas Beaver trackable (TBA94HH).
Never heard of a Christmas beaver? How do you think all the Christmas trees get cut down? The Christmas Beaver gnaws through all of the trunks, of course. I am not kidding, it is on the internet. One of countless Christmas stories, all of which are true.
Put everything back the way I found it, and was on my way.
TFTC !

Found it out searching for our Christmas tree! Still plenty of snow from the most recent snow storm, but it's a gorgeous day. Left dad in the car with two of the kids, mom found it with three of the kids climbing rocks.

{*FTF*} #358 and the 95th consecutive month with at least one FTF!
I was a little apprehensive driving up here after yesterday's snowstorm, but was pleasantly surprised that even the gravel roads had been plowed.
I had to walk through about 6" of snow and found the cache in short order even though it was covered in snow. It helped that the coords appeared to be extremely accurate. I grabbed the trackable to keep it moving and took nothing else.
Thankfully there was a pencil in the cache because my pen does not like Rite-in-rain paper.
I've been parked near the cache now for a good 20 minutes and not a single other vehicle has driven by. Which is surprising considering this is a good place to harvest a Xmas tree.

Thank you Granitegrabber for placing and maintaining "Cottontail Lane" for me to find and log. Saturday December 9, 2023 2:25 PM
