I was in the area helping out my father-in-law with his computer. They live close by and for a while, I had cleaned out all the caches in the neighborhood. Of course, T5M had a way of undoing all of that (multiple times) when they were living here. Sad to say, they've moved on from Colorado. But, with all their caches left behind they may be gone but they certainly aren't forgotten! Now, I just have to yell a whole lot louder for them to hear my frustration when I can't figure out what they did with a hide.
Amazingly, and I can't believe it even as I write this, I was able to find FOUR of their caches without once resorting to a nasty word muttered under my breath or even a dirty look towards the East. That's not to say that all of the caches I found today were straight forward. But they were certainly quite doable and for that I thank you. I'll leave the muttered words and dirty looks for another day.
Anyway, this was the first of four I found. I thought they might hide the cache in line with the theme but when I scoured that area of GZ I saw nothing out of the ordinary. Which, as anyone knows who has found a T5M cache, means absolutely nothing. But then I allowed myself to focus on the coords and have them lead me to the correct GZ.
It was there I spotted something out of the ordinary. And not just SWAG that was not in a cache container. But I also spotted the container! I love knowing exactly what this is after several years in the game. If a geocacher ever decides to become a house burglar, whomever bought these for their intended purpose is in for a world of hurt.
The log was protected by several layers of defense but that didn't stop me from breaking those layers and mutilating the log. I mean... carefully extracting the log and making sure I put everything back the way I found it. ;)
Thanks for the hide T5M. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

I didn't even have time for my GPS to boot up before I made the find. Have patience retrieving the log from the container. SL
