This cache is a bit of hike in desert, canyon terrain. If its wet it can be extremely muddy. There is a wash crossing that can get rather bad. A high clearance vehicle will help get you closer. The cache is a bug themed ammo box well hidden between 2 large rocks. While your there take a stroll around and check out some of mother natures creations on the sandstone rocks.

Great hide! Nice hike, although for those after me, use the wash as a trail; don't follow the GPS over the big hill. SL, TFTC

Out for an afternoon caching trip with our niece and her husband. Their grandchildren Holly(7) and Jeremiah(12)were along to help find the cache. Jeremiah spotted this one right away. We exchanged some items and signed the log.
Thanks for the cache.

uuggg!! found it but rather tired after finding the 21 road mine and then parking directly west of this cache, gps was off a bit and had us traversing the steep hill to the south, (beautiful views from the top though)...finally found it and traded several items S/L. TFTC.

Hot day for a hike in the desert, but it was well worth it. We were not too sure where we needed to park, but we picked a spot and took off walking. I had foot surgery in March, and this was just enough of a challenge for my healing foot without being too strenuous. The kids traded several items, and we picked up the TBs to take them on a journey. We were suprised that no one has been out here since August of last year. Thanks for the fun!
