It was very windy as we got out of the geomobile to find this cache. Noticed that a field next to the cache had quite tall wheat already. Farmers are only planting now in the Canadian Prairies. TFTC

PowerDime decides to come visit me from California. What is the first thing we do when I pick him from the airport? Why, we drive to Kansas to find Mingo of course.

This was one of many stops along the way, and one that we found rather quickly.

You may have noticed that this cache isn't on the way to Mingo. It is when yoy are caching with me, which only confirms what we all knew already: I have geo-ADD and there is no cure. If a cache got either of us a new county, helped with a challenge, had a lot of favorite points, or just looked like fun, we stopped to grab it.

Found it - #1925 - Wife and I are going on our first geocaching road trip with plans to cache in 9 states in 9 days - States to include Illinois, Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas and Missouri. We have also set our goals to reach 2000 finds by the time we return home.

Grabbing some caches along US 36 - lots of traffic zooming by during the hunt

This was cache 189 found on this road trip and it was found to be in good condition - left signature and headed on down the road - TFTC

We just had to go find this cache, as jeepers was my mom's favorite phrase, so much so, that the cat we had when I was growing up, was named jeepers. Thanks for the cache and a trip down memory lane.
