Success! Wow, am I glad to make this find. I have searched for this perhaps a half dozen times. This is certainly a very difficult hide. There are just so many places it could be. My mistake was searching so long in the incorrect areas. Coordinates are close but there are just so many hiding areas for this tricky hide. I am relieved to have found this cache. Thank you for placing this challenging cache and helping to keep our recreation going.

After a few consecutive finds I wanted to give this another shot. As I was searching through the knee high grass around the bushes, I came face to face with a very large non venomous snake. The snake curled up, next to the bush, around ground zero. I continued to search while giving the curled up snake wide berth. Eventually I'll find this one. Thank you for the challenge.

My goodness, what a tricky one!! Second time's the charm...but it almost wasnt! Thank goodness COpackrat had acquired a little bit of intel on this one between our first and second attempts...even when we found what appeared to be the host, the cache was nowhere to be seen! Some careful examination of the groundcover yielded our prize. Thanks for placing this tricky one!

I thought I knew what I was looking for. But I didn’t find it. Tried two more times. Found garter snake both times. Oh well we give up.

I thought I knew what I was looking for. But I didn’t find it. CO assured me it is here. Thank you. I did find two snakeskins, two live snakes (I think they were garter snakes), and multiple damselflies. I found two small splotches of white paint and several decoys. We need to get home to work on bathroom renovations.

What’s the status of this cache? I see that it is tough. I see that CO was thinking of changing it. There have been many DNFs. Is it there?
