This cache is part of a chum-line to the Palisade Flag. The worse part of the hike is getting to the top of the Gearhart Mine Ridge. After that the hike is MUCH easier!
Looks like a old giant mudflow. Found a spot, dug through what was left of my cache sack and found a couple of beat up film cannisters that were looking for a home. One volunteered, so out it came. The other will have to wait for the next stop.

Hiked back up from a lower valley to the west. I think I was following goat tracks. This is a stepping stone Wink to the flag and to my 400th find. I loved the tree at GZ. TFTC SL TNLN
