Didn't find it 01/09/2019 By Pebblesinthecity
Started this adventure at about 10am and finished up at about 3:15pm. I ended up finding 12/14 caches in about 10 miles, which I am happy with. As the day went on, more and more mountain bikers appeared. I would have started earlier, but anything below freezing is where I draw the line. Thanks for all of the caches. I know that I will be back some day because there were a few that I just did not have time or energy to grab.

Climbed up there and looked around in as many places as I could, and did not come up with anything.

My final find of the day! I had a tough time with this one a year ago. And what I found was not in an Altoid tin. Oh well, TFTC!

I found something but I'm not sure if it's the original cache or a replacement. It was approximately 5 ft off the ground, a round film can-type container, and it was covered in camo duct tape. A few feet away I found another container that was obviously not this cache but it had a travel bug inside. Upon further inspection, it's obvious that the second container I found is actually a Letterbox, not a Letterbox hybrid. I grabbed the travel bug and headed on my way.

That said, I'm sure folks are finding a replacement cache or the lettebox or both and not the actual cache (myself possibly included). It would be nice for the cache owner to update the description, add a hint, and/or verify the original is there.

Thanks!!

This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache. See below log.

Hmmm. Based on other logs, there might be two caches here right now.

K Tracker has noted that they replaced the container. We did not see this log before we began our search, so we do not know the status of that replacement.

Walk About Man (WAM) posted a pic of a different replacement cache. This is the one we found today.

We found it sitting on the ground, out in the open. It doesn't seal very well, and the plastic bag the log is in has holes, so I'm guessing it won't last through the winter.

We replaced it to the below coordinates, about 5-6 feet off the ground (NO CLIMBING required to find this replacement).
