The small creek that runs out of Quail Lake has lots of trails surrounding it popular by many walkers. It is a short hike to the cache location but is definitely not a flip flop area. Do not park on Cheyenne Mountain Blvd, the east Quail Lake parking lot is best, coordinates provided. I'd park in the lot and walk on the sidewalk for a ways instead of heading over the steeper edge.

We found out it would have been helpful to enter the area from Quail Lake Loop and then head over the hill.
