Had to stop especially with the new NO GAS sign out front. Made the find quickly and headed toward Colorado Springs. TFTC!

About 15 or 20 years ago, my husband and I were driving from the Midwest to Estes Park via highway 36 when we saw a homemade sign at the side of the road that said "Dairy King ahead." Well, we could see absolutely nothing but high plains, but as we crested the next hill it appeared out of nowhere and we screeched to a halt in front of this establishment. It was Sunday mid-day and wow, every person for miles around must have been having Sunday dinner at the Dairy King. We joined them, loved the food and the milieu, and have had a fond memory of a summer Sunday at the Dairy King in Last Chance for years.
So, obviously, it's so sad to see it shuttered and derelict! Even after all this time, I can picture the inside humming with business. Things change out here, but I really appreciate the cache to bring back these memories!

I looked at the clue. It did not register. After walking around for about 5 minutes. I reread the clue duh. Doing the drive right now to catch the north east corner of Colorado counties. Thank you for the Washington County cache
