Cache and go, this one! CONGRATS TO JAHNFAMILY FOR FTF!!
I always prefer this route (CO 91) to and from Buena Vista <--> Denver due to the outstanding views and well-engineered highway. Bring your camera, enjoy the ride, and take a break at this little "museum-quality" rest area. Jerky and other treats often for sale in the summer.

You would think that 5 days and 2000 miles in a car with FeartheFish to the Metroplex and back would be enough for anyone but I guess I must be a glutton for punishment as off on another roadtrip we go. Decided to let FtF find everything this trip and only bail him out when required. This one was unique in that it finished two challenges for me- the 1000' challenge and the LCP challenge! TFTC!

Up here visiting my friend K4D and decided to stop here and grab this one before going into town for the evening. Herndonrd was part of the experience because I don't know how to cache without him.

Coordinates were spot on and we found the cache in the first place we looked. The container was a good size for travel bugs, but we were making this a quick cache and dash and left the trackables in the car. Instead we simply signed the log and put everything back in place before heading off into Leadville. Thanks for the fun hide and for your contribution to a great day of caching.

A great drive from the Interstate to Leadville. Fascinating history of the mining activity that took place here, but so destructive to the environment, it slowly healing in can see.
TFTC given us a nice break here.

Making a loop from Buena Vista, Failrplay, Breckenridge, Frisco, Leadville and back to BV. Found 28 and DNF'd 3, also avenged a DNF, so it was a good day. I've passed here many times but never stopped, thanks for getting me here, very interesting spot.
