Get ready to walk it is about 3/4 of mile to the trail head from parking area. The cache is about a 1/4 mile from trail head gate.
Go up Rapid Creek road and park at the end of the road. (N 39 08.014 W 108 18.215)It is pirvite porperty on both side of road. Walk on the dirt road and then cross over the stream, go up little hill to red gate(N 39 07.659,W 108 17.559) Fellow trail around To the cache and then go up.

Found it! Cache is in good shape except covered in cobwebs eewwwww! Left a bag of spiders...seemed fitting LOL!! Of course I figured out there was an easier way after doing a little cross country… The trail was remarkable on the way back. First to find in 4 years! Hurray!

Got there just as the gale force wind started. Checked all the trees on the ridge, but did not find it. Hope that it did not wash away in the recent heavy rains. The waypoints helped to stay on the course through the private lands.

Second time hiking out to this cache.... on a beautiful sunny morning. The ground on the hillside was moist enough to not be as treacherous as on previous trip and we were relieved to not encounter a rattler along the way this time :) Looks like it has been a year since this cache has been found- it is in great shape, nicely concealed and ready for the next cacher to come this way! Great day for a hike as the breeze mostly kept things cool. The gnats by the cache were thick and hungry. (Forgot to put on bug spray).
