This one was smaller than I was expecting but the coordinates were spot on. I drove up here in the Xterra to run this road in particular. I was hoping for a short, straightforward day but found it to be quite the opposite. Let's just say I used my winch more than once. This hide was great and is in great shape! TFTC!
This one was more than a year lonely so it qualifies me for the Cache Revival Challenge!

I picked up this nice cache during a short run and recon for new cache locations near MT Herman road. I didn't mean to find caches down this route, but once I got sucked in picking up some along this route, and had to keep going. "Geo-complusion." Loved the GZ here. The CO was smart with the placement, muggles will likely miss it. Thanks to the CO for placing this nice cache, and the series, for everyone to find, TFTC.

Thanks for the fun cache! I came out this way with CrumbCrunchers after this morning's souvenir event in Woodland Park. We had several caches planned in the area mostly on the offshoots of Rampart Range Road. Found this one in great shape. Signed and stamped the log and replaced as found. Fun cache in a great location. We were very upset at this spot as the previous campers had left their camp fire burning. When we arrived there was a ton of smoke billowing from the rocks. I tried to stir is and move the burning logs to a safer area. On the way our we ran into some forest wild fire folks and gave the coords to this location. This road proved to be a great test for CrumbCrunchers Hyundai Veracruz! Handled it like a champ! (despite the fact i was holding on for dear life and saying a few silent prayers)

This spot has turned into a local party spot. Trash and broken glass everywhere. When we walked up we smelled smoke and saw some smoldering wood in a campfire. Rick tried to put it out the best he could and thankfully as we got back to the main road we found a wildland fire crew to report to as well. We scouted around for this cache for a bit and had just shout given up when I spotted it. Cache is in good shape. Thanks for adding to our adventure today!
