THIS CACHE IS AT THE POSTED COORDINATES. However, you will have to qualify for the challenge to log it as found.

My dogs are my favorite geocaching buddies. They are always enthusiastic about the adventure, don't constantly ask if we're done yet, and never complain if I decide to grab "just one more" before heading home. However, they aren't always allowed to accompany me to hiding spots, so this attribute is very important for my planning purposes.

One of my favorite movies growing up was 101 Dalmatians, as well as Lady and the Tramp and The Fox and the Hound. (Are you surprised?) It would be far too easy to find 101 geocaches with the "Dogs Allowed" attribute, so I am challenging you to find 1,001 instead. If you were starting from 0, you would have to travel at least 25 miles from GZ to find enough geocaches with this attribute based on currently active hides.

Feel free to come by and sign the log at any time, but refrain from logging it as found until you qualify. I have personally found 1,060 qualifying geocaches to date. Have fun!

As dog lovers, we love the idea for this challenge cache. Our dog Maisey accompanied us on many of our caching hikes before she passed about three years ago. So we were happy to find this cache, add our name to the log, discover the trackables in the container, and award the cache a favorite point. Thanks for the fun.
