Frack View

This all started on a normal drive route where I saw a ton of fracking. Now I has become more like barn view, and how many of places can I find to hide a cache. Enjoy caching.

Looking North East, you can see a the Tan smoke stacks. How many do you see? Call that A.
A * 3 = B
A * 5 + 1 = C
A + C = D
D - B - B = E

Today I was out and about caching in the area with the always cheerful herndonrd. We were looking for letterbox hides, Wherigos, What the Frack multis, and whatever else tickled our fancy.

The math here was straightforward, and we had no trouble arriving at the correct final coordinates. As is typical when we cache together, herndonrd found the container while I looked in all the wrong places.

After we put our ink on the log we put everything back in place and then we were off to find another one. Thanks for the fun hide and for your contribution to a great day of caching.

P. S. No animals (including humans, aliens, or PayMeCache) were harmed in the writing of this log.

I think I counted at least five times that we drove by this iconic homestead on the way to various caches in the area. Nice touch they have DirectTV, sweeeet.
I had an uber-productive day geocaching with nerak2001 in northern Colorado land. This #25 multi brings me one step closer to meeting my 100-multi challenge goal that I still need to qualify for. I'm over half way there, only 44 more to go now, ha.
Thanks for placing this What the Frack multi power trail Barasaur, I got a kick out of doing math problems with "1" as a starting number and nerak2001 just going out and finding the cache before I even had a chance to solve the puzzle, ha.
Cheers, keep on caching!

Number 5 of my fracking multi cache adventure. TFTC

I had found a number of the What the Frack multi-caches in early 2017 but have had other activities occupy my agenda over the intervening months. So I decided it was time to get after this interesting series again and hit this portion of "fracking country" with my puppies Orizaba and Chimborazo. Found a few more of these caches, and will return soon for some others. I recall when all the land in this area now being used for hydrocarbon extraction and for residential development was highly productive, irrigated agricultural land. The dramatic alterations in land use since the day long ago when Denali50 and I came to see a Whooping Crane resting in this general area during its migration, is the major takeaway from the observations I made today while seeking out geocaches. What remarkable changes have occurred!

Thanks for this series, Barasaur. I hope to return soon to whack away at some more of your fracking multis.
