Nice views of the river from this bank, and on a warm day you can watch the dogs from the park across the water as they splash around.
Approach this cache via a concrete walkway until leaving it for a short walk across a high grass area. Or, if you're coming from the east, you can follow the doubletrack. As always, watch out for critters in the grass.

Hike or ride a bike along a fairly flat paved pathway if you're coming from the east. The closest parking is available at approximately N 39.33.986 W 105.02.477 - turn off Platte Canyon at the sign for South Platte Reservoir at N 39.34.327 W 105.03.364 and follow the road to its end.
