I love this area and the two other caches that are out here - Ruby Canyon View and Doom Point. But Doom Point is a very difficult cache so this one is a good compromise and will let you get two caches on the same day if you go out to Ruby Canyon View. It's an easy find, an ammo can under a tree, but the terrain can be a bit of a challenge.

Found it! solo hiking on the mesa, didn't have the guts to find Doom Point 1 however. cache is in great shape and the hike / views were off the chart. left headphones in the baggie and took the knitted alligator. ( a lot of work went into that gator and it is much appreciated. )

I have a cache a little further on this hill called Ruby Canyon View. I haven't been out here in awhile and the hill seems steeper and the causeway seems narrower than the last time I was here ;) SL
