****Update**** I checked on the cache on 5/29/2005 still in the same place we left it. Co-ordinates were slightly different then when the cache was placed. Updated with new co-ordinates. This is Lair@LillyLake relocated. .65 miles of hike to get to the cache. Moderate hike up hill all the way there. Please try to keep this cache kid friendly.

Look for the large rocks up the hill from the trail. Approximately 190 feet up the hill. This cache has a jewelry box dropped by the first finders of LilyLake cache. Along with the original contents. Bonzer the Koala, Freddy Freestyler, Pez dispenser,GI Toys, and few other misc items. Hopefully you will enjoy this cache. There is some great historical sites about 2.5 miles pass the cache. Beautiful hike and a nice leg workout off trail to the cache! Watch out for cactus/cacti this time of year on your way up- especially if you have your pup with you! Dogs allowed on this hike!

Found on my morning hike. Great place for a geocache.
Trail is in good shape. Not to bad of a scramble to get up the hill.

Nice to see this cache high and dry and totally unaffected by the flood that rearranged the landscape here almost four years ago. I had a rare opportunity to hike on this beautiful morning by myself and I enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for luring me to this place.

Bucky & I found the Lair @ Lions Gulch cache while escaping from the heat down in the lower elevations. It was great weather up here, as the temperature was in the 60s when we started (well before sunrise), and got up to the upper 70s by the time we got back to the trailhead around noon. Awesome weather for a hike up to the meadows!

Homestead Meadows was the aim of today's hike, and fortunately this one is just off of the trail on the way up! What was really neat about today's hike was all the wildflowers that were out. Just another reason that this is one of my favorite places to hike!

Made the quick find, then continued on up the trail!
