As I was approaching find #2000, I went to visit a friend in Oklahoma.  After hearing how much I really hate RPCs (Rock Pile Caches), he decided to place "MTNBIRDERS ROCKPILE CACHE" for me to find as my find # 2000.  I went searching one morning while he came and laughed watched.  So now that he is coming out here, I thought I'd show him how I'd place a micro in a rock pile.
Most Gnomes live on "the other side" of Bigelow.  But KVN Gnome decided he had to be different.   He likes rockpiles, and he like being far from his fellow Gnomes, so he decided to hang out in this canyon, where GPS signals can have fun bouncing around.

Once we got close to GZ, we found the container looking right at us. The freeze and thaw must have damaged it, because the bottom part is gone. But the log was nice and dry. Tftc.

This is such a fun and beautiful find. It isn’t my first time finding it but I never logged it last July. The right time of year will yield some fabulous wild raspberries as a snack! Took my son who is new at geocaching and let him find it. The gnome will not be walking off anytime soon since he’s lost his feet lol. But great find and the log is in good shape. We all signed. Tftc.
