We are watching Stormy, our son's border collie for three weeks.  She has converted a couple of couch potatoes into avid hikers in short order.  Today involved a 5-1/2 (us)  (she ?????????) mile roundtrip on the Gunnison River Bluffs trail.  She wandered off the trail and discovered a nice hiltop with a great view.  We happened to have a cache in our pack, so the spot instantly became "Stormy's Lookout" cache.

The cache is best accessed  from the Gunnison River Bluffs trail when you cross a dry wash just south of the cache.  Follow the trail along the wash then up the grassy hillside to the cache.

Be sure to loiter and enjoy the view.

Nicely concealed container, a bit worse for wear and weather but still intact. Contents inside were dry. Left some pocket change because I needed one of the three pencils, thanks for the hide!

Found cache, everything inside in good shape. Helps to know that lid pulls off rather than screws off... I did bang on it a bit with a rock to loosen rust seal then lid came off with contents intact. Was able to replace lid securely and rehide as found. Lovely view. Took geocoin to move along. TFTC!
