Good place to take a break. And if you snoop around a bit, you might find a letterbox hidden nearby! We stumbled upon it a year ago.
This is a bright orange waterproof match container. Probably not a great cache to look for when there's a lot of snow on the ground unless you really like a challenge!

Tall grass, was super fearful of snakes. Easy find once you get there. Log is soaked so we couldn’t sign. Left a worry doll.

In town visiting my daughter and her husband who live up on top of a nearby mountain. Came down here to take their dog for a hike. They were gracious enough to let me grab some caches along the way. This was our first stop. Found cache easily but log is soaked. Adding pic as our log. TFTC SL

First cache of the day. We flew to Denver this morning. Picked up our rental car and began driving to Buena Vista. We stopped at Meyer Ranch Park for a short hike to begin the acclimation to the altitude. Nice to have a number of caches to hunt as well. This was a quick find as we began our ascent. Many thanks.
