When I found this cache in 2011 I left an alternate route on my log. I'll repeat it.
I took an alternate route: parked on a track at 38° 23.632N, 105° 10.339W and zig-zagged my way up the hill to the right of the gulch. I got up with no rock climbing at all, just a lot more walking.

It is a great view and interesting wandering around topside. I found the benchmarks, too. Getting up and down were a little hard on an old pair of jeans, though! It was a beautiful, albeit windy, day to be up there. Thanks for this cache.

This cache was awesome for the hike up from Rockin' 3 and for the GZ! The area was just wonderful to hike up in the sun this afternoon. Phenomenal! I could get lost in the geology alone! Once I got to GZ, the trees, shrubs and ground were so intoxicating, even the makeshift fire pit was not bad. Good thing the cache is well hidden because it could be muggled by those who have stacked firewood and made the area comfy for fireside chats on dark nights. I made sure it was hidden the same or better to avoid this. The view was just as cool! Points in all directions looked great today with the sun, puffy white clouds, but threatening weather was inbound. Thanks for the cache!
