You know what you are looking for.

The terrain rating is based on the ever changing conditions of the trail and the slope. Sometimes there is water flowing down the trail. Other times it is very snow packed and icy.The hide isn't really all that difficult, but GPS reception in this area can be very bad. Sometime the coordinates will take you right to it and other times you will bounce back and forth.

When you are close the trail splits. Main trail continues to the top, take the branch to the left (lower) a short distance.

11/17 I went back to the cache today. I added photos and additional WP a bit east and north that might help. I stood on top of the cache with the posted coordinates with 2 units and sometimes the posted coordinates were right on and other times not. The same with the additional WP.

The pictures would not load because I did not have cell signal, so NTM and I were just following the GPS. We figured we could pretty much assume what it was we were looking for. After a while of the GPS bouncing around and us walking around in circles, I made the find just as I was headed back to the trail to move on to the next one. Thought it was super clever! Thanks a lot for the cache.

Steep terrain at end

Yup, knew what to look for, and there it was. Most of the trail was clear, but the remaining ice was fair slippery. TFTC

A tricky find on a warm February morning! I had to get help from the photos as the GPS was all over the place. Cache log was a little moist from a recent snow. TFTC!

Out enjoying this mild weather before the cold returns tomorrow. Very quiet peaceful trail. Cache is in good shape. Coords and spoiler pics made it a quick find. Thanks!

Beautiful day for a last minute caching foray into Deer Creek and other destinations. The trees kept raining melting snow on our heads. Enjoyed the short hike to this cache. The snow made the geo-pup quite happy. Thanks for the hide!

Third cache of the day with nerak. Last minute decision to go snow caching together for some specific targets. Didn't get all we had planned, but had a great day.

Much, much harder in the thick, wet snow. Melting snow from tree tops rained on us and dropped large slush snowballs too.

Thanks sassydil! Logged Bad to the bone from a seventh galaxy using c:geo!
