This cache is about relationships; not necessarily good, healthy relationships, but toxic types. For many people toxicity in their human contacts lead to long-term, debilitating illnesses. Since it is all of our responsibility to make the World a better place, this cache aims to educate by way of one simple example how reckless disreguard for the poisons we inject in our environment can take years to clean-up, if possible at all.

This is a basic math puzzle requiring familiarity with chemistry. The cache is not at the stated coordinates. To get the fractional portion ( N39°35.z ) you will have to figure out the numbers by way of the math problem below. The key for the encryption of the coordinates (k) begins with the following molecular formula: C14H9Cl5

Divide the following number, 57702 by the non-decimal portion of the molecular weight(g/mol) of this stuff (k) to find the fractional portion of the Latitude(z)

Next, to find the fractional portion of the Longitude, divide 26.904 by the non-decimal portion of K's molecular mass.

You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.

Had to come down on the weekend to avoid the usual weekday traffic. After scoping out potential hiding spots, I was able to make the grab from the first guess! Replacement log and container are in great condition. SL T4TC!

I'm working on another puzzle that has a waypoint in the area and spotted this oldie. Solving didn't take as long as I had initially expected! I read the logs and came prepared for a possible replacement. I'm sure glad I did! The container looks like it has been there all these 11 years and the amount of rust was overwhelming. I had a container just like it ready to go and thanks to the5millers who had joined me on this quest, he had a magnet. All is fresh and ready for another decade of existence!

Thanks for the hide psyclawps

Out and about caching with PayMeCache on a nice fall day. We had looked for this one the day before without success. We came back today to try again. PayMeCache spotted something in one of the old logs that gave us the nudge that we needed to make the find. And by we, I mean PayMeCache.

Of course we never find it if I don't solve the puzzle, but I digress.

As is the norm when we go geocaching together, I look in all the wrong places and he looks in the right ones. It used to be that I had value because he always forgot his pen. Unfortunately, he is remembering that now such that my sole purpose is for him to gloat at me when he finds the container. Granted, I find them about 1.666666666667% of the time. So, I've got that going for me, which is nice.

Thanks for the fun hide and for your contribution to a great day of caching.

Found it with fearthefish. We had solved the puzzle but couldn’t come up with the find initially. Did a little digging in the logs and something clicked.

Catching up on my ridiculous amount of logs that have accumulated for months on end.

I signed a challenge earlier this year that required a large amount of caches to be found and I’m finally at the home stretch. Making a hard push at the end of the month here since weather is in my favor and trying to get this thing wrapped up before years end.

All is well here with the cache and log.

Some may call me seriously mentally ill. Some may state that I am in a state of mind that prevents social interaction. Some may say I am in a state of mind that prevents normal perception and or behavior. I prefer to say that I tend to do the same thing over and over again, but I expect different results. That being said, I believe we only live one life and I am trying to make the best of it. I thank you, psyclawps for placing a fun geocache to fuel my "insanity" or addiction as I call it. I appreciate you bringing me here so that I can try and sign my alias on a piece of paper that you have hidden.

I look forward to finding more of your geocaches. I also look forward to potentially finding geocaches with you one day and sharing stories of our insanity... I mean hobby or addiction? Cheers!
