Well, this turned into an adventure on this cold, dark, snowy night. I wanted to keep my streak going and I was definitely not sure about going after this one. But, it was on my way to another one. So, I figured I might as well have a look. I had to circle a number of times before I spotted this. Then I wasn't sure whether my TOTT was up to the job. It didn't take me too long to retrieve the container, though I did drop it once and had to retrieve it from another branch. Then I dropped it again and had to find it. Returning it turned out to be a challenge. I kept on dropping the container and having to find it again. Eventually, I decided that it would be easier to do this as a climb. I think I did put this back within a few feet of where I found it. Maybe the next finder would want to put it up a few feet higher.

Co-FTF with COpackrat. I have solved all the jigsaw puzzles, but had not ventured out to try any finds until today. I went to this one to scope out what I might need. The tool I brought was not going to work, but COpackrat showed up with just what was needed. She made the grab and we signed the clean log.

Parked near the cache and started over when I saw some "muggle" strolling along the fence. He obviously wasn't a cacher as he had no assortment of paraphernalia with him - wrong!! Went back to the vehicle to get my TOTT, and when I started back ,there he was, looking up at the host - hmmm. It was GrizzlyCacher and we chatted for a bit and then made short work (how's that for a joke about height challenged people?) of the retrieval. Thanks for another fun adventure, although I must say that you're starting to make me feel bad. Until the most recent Sky High hides, I was very pleased with the performance of my pole, but now I'm starting to feel inadequate and may even be getting retrieval anxiety! Hahaha :-)
