Dogs  Scenic view  Not Recommended at night  Parking available  Bicycles  No Motorcycles  Horses  Medium hike (1km-10km)

Do you remember the movie..... can you remember the stress level of Pacino....
The name says it all. Bring your dog and plan on spending some time. You can park at 39.36.119/105.21.994

So easy even Two Newfs can do it.......Like all things in my life my first cache has to be overboard. I wanted to make a multi that would be very hard. I think this is it. there are two needles in a hay stack and two other tough hides. This multi has 5 micros leading to the final cache.

I have placed a gold Indian at each spot to encourage some challengers.

It is placed in a very small piece of national forest here in evergreen. There are paths within 30 feet of each point but you may not find them. Do not move anything larger than your foot. This place is very dog friendly, but you may encounter horses so be able to control your dogs. It is over a two mile hike. E-Mail me if you want the snow conditions.

Special thanks to Two Newfs for the test run and having to give up the FTF.

Went back to find more stages and happened upon a mountain lion den between stages 3 and 4 with at least one baby. I think we won't be finishing this cache. Scared me to death. :-(

Found the first two stages. Looking forward to the rest!

My husband needed to go up to Brook Forest today and do some work - so I tagged along and grabbed a few caches.
I started this one 7/12/11, but the second waypoint was missing then. Finally got to come back today and start again.
I found the 3rd waypoint laying on the ground, and stuffed it in a tree root/stump and covered it with a rock.

This was lots of fun, and I was glad I had a chance to do it today. I'm giving it a favorite point. There are no trespassing signs around WP3 - that wp might need to be moved.

This was a great cache to keep my August streak alive.

Thanks!

Left Scrabble tiles in some of the bigger caches.

Loved this one because:

  1. Took me to a place I did not know existed

  2. Fun multi cache

  3. Micros in the woods! (my favorite)

  4. Was the only one there

The third cache was right out in the open so I tucked it in and gave it some cover. Wish there were some of those cookies in the final cache! Had a great time with the geodogs today! TFTC!

A really good one! It had excellent hides and thanks to spot on coords the snow cover only slowed me down somewhat. Plus, I really appreciate the intro to this little gem of National Forest land. Enjoyed the twist of the final location too ;-) IN - Lanyard form the London Games OUT - nothing TFTH!!
