Scenic view  Difficult climbing  Parking available

The Cache is located about 500' up the canyon wall. There is a parking area right across from where you start your hike at N38°40.144' W106°50.185'. There are faint game trails from the bighorn sheep in the area, but no defined trail to climb the slope. I would recommend staying in one of the two drainages of the slope, climbing through the loose talus field can be tricky.  You will definitely want to bring a good pair of boots.

The Cache contains:

Beer Coozie, Alien Toy, Ruler, Business Card Holder, Bubbles, Bubble Wrench, Seeds, Skater, Tire Patch Kit, Wrench, Golf Ball, Hair Clip, Bottle Opener Keychain, Rubber Ball, Marble, Magnet, and a small amount of Cash.

Once you make it to the Cache, you will be rewarded with great views of Almont, Taylor River and the Canyon.

Did not find. Difficult, tough terrain. I will attemp this one again because I have an idea as to where it is. I tried the right drainage but too many small willows and downed branches to get through.

After much climbing and serious risk taking we walked away empty handed and my 13 year old son fell and got Pretty banged up. Do you not take this on lightly. I suggest more hints.

Wow, a great climb. I assaulted from the left (looking at the cliffs), crossed across the loose pile and also ended up to high. I looked where I thought it would be and struck out. I slipped a couple of times, but finally found it lower than my GPS thought it should have been.

Found the cache eventually and snapped some pictures. Great climb, have a favorite point. Cool

Bummer. Tried to find after a rainstorm, very slick. Unfortunately got close over and over, but never found it. Will definitely try again another day. Beautiful views
