My mother's friend Gene died two weeks ago and now rests here. I thought a geocache in remembrance of him was in order.
When you come to the posted location, use what you see here to calculate the final coordinates.

For the N coords: How many letters are in Gene's last name? Take that number and multiply it by 40. Add to the N coordinates.
For the W coords: How old was Gene's wife when she died? Subtract 10 from this value, then subtract this answer from the W coordinates.

Note: the location of the first coords is open only from sunrise to sunset.

Another Note (based on the experiences of many who have searched for this one):
There is more than one Gene in this vicinity. As Funmom says, pick the Gene who died about 2 weeks before the cache placement. Think October 2009.

I was in this cemetery today to attend a service for a local cacher who was a huge part of our community for a long time. I found the required information very quickly and headed to the final. Turned out I was about 100' on the wrong side of a fence. Fortunately, I had the time to drive around to make the find. The container was laying in the open a few feet from GZ. I signed the log and replaced it consistent with the hint. Everything is in good shape. TFTC

When I was scrolling thru my images I found that I had not logged this find, when I was with Herndonrd and Fearthefish. Leave it to me to start taking after Fearthefish and not log my caches in a timely manor. Anyway also stoped by and checked on the caches for my Uncle and for my Father in law. All is well there too.

Some may say we are crazy, but this game/hobby is one of the greatest gifts. Who doesn’t love a great scavenger hunt. Hiking, biking or driving hundreds of miles to sign our name on a piece of paper. This brings us a lifetime of joy, and new friends from all around the world.

Thanks for placing this cache and keeping our recreation going. SL - T5M/PC. Tftc
