When you're this far from home, there is only one thing left to do...celebrate!

Where IS home? 5.3 million people call Colorado home. As a native, I recall there being nothing south of County Line Road except Daniel's Park. Now the growth has almost joined up with Castle Rock. CA was my home for a while, and now I'm back. This cache could be far from home, or not so far, depending on your perspective. Either way, its perfectly situated. So, when you finally round the corner and home is in sight, its already in your head...I can hear it...

FTF goes to ByTheWind777...congrats!

Last cache of the day for me. I saw all the favorites and the size and figured I’d give it a shot. When I got to GZ I was not so sure how this would go. There was a food truck block party going on. Muggles everywhere. But I was here so why not give it a shot?

Once at GZ I spotted the cache quickly. I checked around. Everyone was too engrossed in their beer and food to give me a second glance. Or even a first glance for that matter. I grabbed the cache and headed to the nearby bench.

I extracted the log and signed it as best I could with my pen. Unfortunately didn’t have a Sharpie.

I retrieved the TB, put everything back together and nonchalantly replaced the cache. I can’t remember when I was so brazen grabbing a cache. And no one cared. I tucked it in a little too to keep it safe. Great cache. Gets a favorite.

Thanks for the hide martensGgC. I appreciate you keeping this cache active for everyone to enjoy.

Fun find on a Sunday afternoon outing with HardRockHaddy. Low muggle factor as everyone was focused on the Broncos game. TFTC

12:43:00 PM Out for a ride on the Highline today. I dropped a Colorado Trail hiker off this morning at Waterton - which was the perfect excuse to go for a ride here! I ended up getting lost ( I didn't realize that the canal wasn't continuous) and explored a new bike path near Chatfield. Luckily, since it was Sunday the construction crew wasn't working and I was able to meet back up wtih the canal.. I also had to yield (actually walk my bike) past some very skittish horses. And I quit for the day when I found a rattlesnake guarding a cache. Lots of adventures! Thanks! This was my final cache of the day after finishing on the highline. I'm giving this one a favorite

Just completed the Hidden Creatures challenge and decided to get one more for extra assurance. Saw the faves on this one and decided to take a look. Very creative, you hit this one out of the ballpark! I couldn't sign the log, so I left my autograph on the inner container. tft
