This is a short (1/2 mile) hike from the parking at N 38 49.387 W104 53.401. Enjoy the great views and make it a nice 3+ mile shuttle hike by parking one car at the Red Rocks Open Space parking area. Both are good for kids (our 3 and 5 year olds made both hikes). Have fun and watch for cactus!

On my early morning hike today I decided to grab this cache whilst out and about. Container has seen better days though the contents are still dry. Some rodents have done a lot of gnawing on the container and bottom is cracked. Contents are still in good supply. TFTC

Another cache find today while out with imyy4u2 on a hike in the area. We've been trying to get a few more hours of hiking in to each week, as a way to keep active and have fun. Good news is that we have a lot of area west of the city where we are lacking in smileys. Hooray for hiking opportunities!

It was cool finding a cache that still had a bunch of swag! There was also a little bit of water, but the contents seemed undamaged, so we just drained it out. Left all of the goodies for the next cacher, signed the log and went about or business. Thanks for the cache!

Out caching with Mike of Mikeandjuli today. Gdabbed this one along the way. Little bushwhacking, but not too bad. Container is showinv signs of wear and tear. No longer watertight, but otherwise in good shape. Tftc!

If only the mountain bikers were considerate of hikers. And while I am dreaming, if only dog owners picked up after their pets! Ah well, it was still a nice hike. Thorn bush is still there on west side, but can be avoided. Thanks for placing this cache for us to enjoy. Picked up the TB since it has been there awhile.
