You're going to hunt down this cache by visiting nearby trail locations for the coordinates. Please CITO along the way, this area is home to A LOT of Prairie dogs.

You're hunting down a regular sized container that has some swag, room for trackables, and of course a stamp! Be sure to bring a stamp to stamp my log book. A stamp isn't required but it makes it more fun. The Letterbox is NOT at the posted coordinates! All you'll find at the start is a bunch of Prairie dog holes. So to get to the Letterbox location you must venture your way along the north end of the path and find some landmarks that will give you the final location. Favorite points aren't required to award me for the hide. Although, the more Favorite points I receive, the more awesome/unique caches I'll hide.

I dropped off my wife and kids for an early morning flight to MN where my nephew is battling brain cancer. I’m joining them in a couple days.

I had some caches on my to get list and this was one of them. I'm trying to increase my Letterbox finds. I almost didn't attempt it. I was a bit thrown off at first by the instructions but then I saw that the waypoints were included so I decided to give it a go. I used the instructions to start on the North side and that worked really well. I struggled just a little bit with the most Northerly waypoint but then understood the information I needed to get. The other two waypoints were straight forward.

I was able to spot the cache pretty quickly once I got to GZ. I'd actually say this was more of a Terrain 2.5 because the waypoints and getting to GZ. Not saying that to complain (this cache definitely deserves more favorites!) but as a heads up to future finders.

Thanks for the hide HDGeoSmash

Was in town for a meeting and highlighted a mere 500+ caches that I wanted to grab. Of course my final count was 9 - 3 Wherigo, 3 Letterbox and 3 Virtuals - so, a pretty good haul. All help me along to some of my objectives/challenges.

This was the final stop of the day. Ripped my pants, got muddy and found a cache - now to the airport. Didn’t see any prairie dogs - that was kind of a bummer.

Parked in the CC parking lot and walked over to the trail and crossed the creek for the first time. Fortunately there was a Lime Bike right there - these things are everywhere in Dallas so I already have an account and that helped me get this one a little faster. Got the info off the. First redirectors took me a minute to figure out which stop I was at. Then headed to stop 2 / had to cross the creek twice to collect the necessary info and then on to stage 3 - this was the easiest. Once I had the info I headed to GZ - heard some owls in the nearby trees but could t spot them. When I got to GZ I noticed a round tin on the ground - I assumed that was the cache. Once I got it open it was just rolling papers and I was confused - is this the cache? I decided to expand my search and found the real container. Did the paperwork and headed back to the car and back to the airports

Picked up the trail from 1st Avenue and almost got blown away by the strong winds, but enjoyed finding clues on my walk to the final. TNLNSL. (Used your cute stamp). Thanks for a well-done letterbox multi!
