Dogs  Scenic view  Significant hike  Cliff / falling rocks  Parking available  Bicycles

Whew! The hike is sort of lengthy, but super fun with great views. There are two look outs that peer over the valley, one on the way to the cache and one where the cache is located. Grab your dogs and friends and maybe a bike! Great views, great trails. Once you get to the look out near the cache, be careful finding your footing while searching- it gets semi-steep and rocky!

The cache is a box wrapped in black tape. Make sure to stop and enjoy the view. Also, catch your breath- the hike back to the parking lot is harder on the way back! Have fun and enjoy.

make sure you take the C-9 trail next to the outhouse when you leave the parking lot... i took the other trail to north of the lot and ended up bush wacking across 2 deep ravines and up 2 steep hills before i hit the right trail. from the parking lot it says the cache is 0.99 mile, but consider another quarter mile longer because of the twists and turns of the trail out. very nice day for hiking and saw a couple deer along the way. T-brazil coin, paraguay key ring and wyoming pin and L-clay pigeon, black dog saloon key ring and operation independence pin.. agree the hike back is harder than the hike out... T4TC, SL.
