Finally able to claim this one with chuppalloop! We've been sitting on the coordinates for a while, but couldn't make the physical find until the CO replaced it recently. TFTC!

Have company and they were intrigued to visit some historic homes in Fort Collins. We really enjoyed going to the various homes and reading the information about each provided by the CO. We did think that the sequence of viewing the homes could be improved to reduce driving distance. Overall though a fun cache that gets a favorite point. When we got to the final coordinates we were unable to spot the hide. Since it has been about 2 years since it was last spotted I contacted the CO who gave permission to log as a find. Thanks to the CO for all the effort to put this cache together!

Got the final coordinates, but did not find the cache after poking around for some time. According to the logs, it's been almost a year since it was replaced and shortly after someone else couldn't find it either... Is it still there?

Day 4 of a road-trip with JordsAU targetting his completion of the Jasmer Grid. Paul Barclay Stash (GC67) was the day's main target as we had an otherwise "slower" driving day, moving only from Colorado Springs, CO to Cheyenne, WY. That turned out to be quite ok given that our car informed us we had low tire pressure as we got up in the morning and by the time we got back from Paul Barclay and headed towards Denver, we ended up with a full on flat tire. Despite the slowdown we still managed one FTF, made it to JordsAU's other main "destination" of the day: Casa Bonita! (thank you, South Park...), and had the best Uber driver ever - an ex Brooklyn drug-dealer, who used to follow the Grateful Dead and Phish on tour all over the world, grateful to be alive but struggling to survive the boring, health-nut lifestyle of Boulder, CO :D
After our Casa Bonita visit and retrieving our car with now quasi-functional tires, we stopped for a few more caches along the way. Had done part of the legwork on a few wherigos in the area in the past, and now was the time to complete and collect.
Sadly we struck out at GZ. Searching after dark we attracted the attention of a nearby employee, she was amused by our activity but knew nothing about the cache. Perhaps we were too tired, but we couldn’t figure a legitimate hiding spot or perhaps we just missed a well placed nano. A nice Wherigo though.

Thanks to the co for allowing me to claim this cache. Very fun wherigo while in town and enjoying my time here. Back in the 70s I was in Ft. collins for the Boy Scout jamboree and seemed like gods country. Today if feels just the same. Thanks for the cache

Renee and Peter have had this cache on their radar for quite some time. Today was the day designated to go after it. We completed one other in the series and had an idea what we might run into. We enjoyed seeing the historic homes and learning more about each of them. The cache took us about an hour to complete including several extra trips around the block due to tree trimming crews working on one of the main streets involved with the route. Our main issue of concern with this cache was the number of miles it took to complete. For us it was more than eleven miles because of some of the required crisscrossing routes involved. Beyond that issue, the cache was fun learning about the homes and their unique histories. Thanks, Barasaur.
