This is cache is placed in honor of my oldest daughter Madi, who turned me on to Geocaching a couple of years ago.  Now I have a fever, and the only perscription is to get oustide and find MORE GEOCACHES!  She even bought the container you are searching for as a recent birthday present.  I placed this cache in the snow and intend for it to be found year round. The GPS bounce up here is fierce, please let me know if coordinates are sufficient. Enjoy and please back exactly where you found it for maximum camo.  Happy Hunting, BYOP.

Another GeoDog74 cache added to my found list! I made it to this one after "Tribute to a Friend" which is north of this one. I saw deer and lots of tracks in the snow up there. I even saw what I think are bobcat tracks. Found at 1228 pm.

Out and about on a nice mid-winter day for some geocaches - this was the third of nine - also, this was the first stop on a park-once-find-four excursion. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

My last cache of the day. I read the clue before heading this way. Once I was close my mind made everything fit the clue. But I trusted my GPS and was lead right to the generously sized small. Cool placement. I've only seen a few containers like this one.
Today I headed west after work to grab a few caches while hiking in the mountains. Traffic up was crazy. A driver pulled onto 285 where the speed limit is 55. She pulled into the traffic lane and I had to slam on my brakes to avoid hitting her. Instead of speeding up, she came to a complete stop. Cars were honking at me because I had to stop behind her! But I digress. I stopped by King Soopers and grabbed some snacks for the hike. The temperature was around 27 degrees as I set foot on the trail. I gathered my supplies (including my Diet Coke fountain drink) and headed out. When you are hiking 27 degrees doesn't feel that cold. It was beautiful and I was following well marked trails. Soon I realized that I didn't want to carry a fountain drink. So I found a memorable spot and put it down to pick it up on my return trip. As I continued up the mountain the snow pack varied. Anywhere from non existent to 4 or 5 inches. I collected several caches and even pushed through hip deep snow drifts to make one find. Beautiful views. I saw evidence of several critters, but didn't get to see the critters. The sun fell behind the mountains before I was headed back to the Jeep. I was surprised at how long light hangs around after the sun had dipped below the horizon. I arrived at the Jeep just as the last bits of light were fading. Then I remembered what I forgot.... my fountain drink. Back to the trail to pick up my litter. Grabbed it and once again returned to the Jeep. The return trip to Denver was just as eventful. This time a driver merged right into me. I swerved into the other lane to avoid being hit. Luckily, I got around her because I saw and heard the cars honking as she meandered along the road doing what appeared to be around 25 mph. Crazy driving day, but great caching day.
Thanks for the cache!

Long bushwhack for the isolated find before the Winter snow. Cache is about 30 feet East of GZ on my GPS. Left coin and trinket. Thanks for placing this cache. Knyte7
