An easy cache to add to your geocaching experience in the grasslands. The Pawnee is an internationally known birding area. It supports many bird species, especially during migration. The Colorado State Bird, the lark bunting, is very common on the grassland in spring and summer. The grassland also has many unique high plains bird species such as the mountain plover, burrowing owl and many birds of prey. Hiking, camping, picnicking, horseback riding and stargazing are also popular activities. Pronghorn, mule deer, coyote, swift fox, snakes and prairie dogs are just a few of the species that make the prairie their home. GCRM

There is still lingering snow in my home area so decided to head to the grasslands to do some caching. Temps actually hit 70 today! Cache is in good shape! TFTC!

Found it at 0737.
It took me less than a minute to spot this one. There were only a few signatures on the log, so apparently it (and maybe even the cache container itself) were replaced by a recent "finder".
TNLNSL. TFTC!

Working the area power trails to knock out the Mystical Creatures quest. This is a cut and paste due to the need for speed. If there are any issues, they will be added. Thank you for the series! Also thank you for maintaining these hides!

This one of many today I went after during a power run today. Visiting from Florida. The cache was in good shape. I found two containers here so both were signed. TFTC

Spent the day looking for geocaches in the grasslands. Replaced some containers and logsheets. As usual, a very windy day making it a challenge to keep logsheets from blowing away. SL, thanks for all the placements.
