This should be a quick find!

I recently found a cache location that reminded me of my British pal Herbert ('erbie). 'Erbie could tell a mean story and we would often get sauced and sit back and wait for him to sling a good tale or two. He always had some crazy Brit slang he used (we weren't, and still aren't, sure that it was legit slang or if he was simply making it up) that made the tale seem that much more dramatic and he would always forget the ending and stammer off at the without resolving it, and simply replace an ending with "God Save the Queen." Fun times. Here is one example:

"As I drown' a pint and ate me a beef Wellington ensamble with lettuce (hamburger) I was happened upon at unawares by a gomp 'pon his daily stroll through thuh area (taking a walk). This strange bird bargled about and made a grand entrance without so much as botherin' to touch the chimney pushknob (doorbell). He was yellin about and gettin his knickers uptight in his bollywocks (was visibly distraught). He burst through the wobbly flip-shutters (doors) and demanded we let help him ascertain the time. I consulted my cuff link time-Johnny (watch) and the barkeep his small Ben (clock) and we let him know it was a sprinkle past go time (get the heck outta here). Just then a loony chuckle fairy (clown) made an entrance without notice. He was peddlin' cold on the cob (popsicles) and drawrin' all sorts of nonsense with his crockety snapwickets (markers) all over some balloons he was inflatin'.
Anyway, God Save the Queen."
